Logo & brandmark
The ShareSoc identity is built from two elements: the brandmark — a navy circle containing an abstract "S" formed from two horizontal shapes, signifying individual investors standing together — and the logotype set in Montserrat. The full lockup pairs both with the descriptor "UK Individual Shareholders Society".

SIGnet sub-brandSIGnet is ShareSoc's network of private investor groups. Its logo follows the same usage rules as the ShareSoc logo and comes in two variants. The wordmark is Montserrat Bold in both — the SIG / net split is colour, not weight. A strapline lockup adds the descriptor The UK’s Investor Network beneath the wordmark (Montserrat Medium), mirroring the ShareSoc strapline lockup; drop it when it becomes illegible at small sizes.

Service tiles
Five brand colours mapped to ShareSoc service areas. Toggle dark/light above to verify both modes. Sky (Light Blue) is the only tile requiring dark text.
Brand palette
Each brand colour generates five tokens: tile, tinted surface, dark-mode accent, light-mode accent, and rule. The tinted surface adapts per mode — warm darks in dark mode, pale tints in light mode.
▲ Sky tile uses dark text (#1A1A1A). White on light blue gives insufficient contrast. This is the only exception in the system — consistent with how pale colours work across all design conventions. ◑ = dark mode accent. ○ = light mode accent.
Base UI tokens
Surface, rule, and ink tokens in both modes. All ink values exceed 4.5:1 on every background they appear on. Toggle the mode button to verify.
Semantic states
State colours map directly to brand colours — errors use Orange, success uses Teal, warnings use Amber (semantic), info uses Navy. This makes semantic meaning reinforce service identity.
Palette expansion note: these semantic tokens are new additions not in the base brand palette. They share the same hex values as brand accents but are named for their functional role, not their service association — so a form error showing orange is a deliberate collision with the Investor Advocacy service identity, reinforcing brand recognition.
Type scale
Three fonts: Montserrat (display/UI/labels), Manrope (body/functional), DM Mono (data/numerical). All sizes ≥11px. All text–colour pairs exceed 4.5:1.
Font stackDisplay, UI, and labels. Headlines, section titles, subheadings, nav labels, tile names, eyebrows, badge tags. The primary voice of the brand — confident and modern.
Body and functional text. Paragraphs, form labels, button text, descriptions, captions. Optimised for readability at small sizes.
Data and figures. Financial numbers, percentages, ISINs, version labels, code snippets. Always use with tabular-nums for aligned columns.

Metric cards
Single container with 1px rule gaps. Montserrat caps labels, Manrope 600 values, mono deltas. No service-colour borders — delta percentage is the only colour. 4-across on desktop, 2x2 on mobile.
Buttons
Primary uses navy tile (white 7.1:1). Hover darkens to #2A4060 (white 9.2:1). Secondary uses orange tint/accent pair. Ghost uses base ink tokens. All pass AA.
